The emergency provoked by the high number of injuries at Juventus reopens the door for midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic and left-back Fabio Grosso to play next weekend against Chievo.
Their reinstatement is temporary and the two players cannot play in the Europa League because they are not on the clubs UEFA list of eligible players. The opportunity arises after an injury crisis that sees Juve missing three of the four first team defenders.
During the summer Juventus President Andrea Agnelli was clear about the future of the two, inviting them to look for a new club. However Grosso refused any move for family reasons and Salihamidzic also chose to stay. At the beginning of the season the two players trained separately from the rest of the team, but from the 9th September coach Luigi Del Neri reinstated them in the group, and now they will be back in the starting line-up for the match against Cesena.
