Insua on Roma radar

The agent of Emiliano Insua has confirmed that Roma are interested in taking his client to the Stadio Olimpico.
22-year old Insua has recently reported back to training with Liverpool, although the Premier League club are willing to listen to offers for the full-back who spent last season on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray.
With former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise expected to leave Roma shortly, Insua is seen as a direct replacement for the departing Norwegian.
And the Argentinian’s representative, Rodrigo Vilarino, believes a transfer to the Giallorossi is possible. Speaking to, Vilarino said:
“We have spoken to Roma director Walter Sabatini. The situation, at the moment, is on stand-by. I don’t know how much he would cost, that all depends on Liverpool.”
Insua joined the Merseyside club in 2007 from Boca Juniors, despite having never made a senior appearance for Los Xeneises.
The Argentina international was close to agreeing a switch to Fiorentina last summer but the deal fell through at the last minute. Palermo are also thought to be interested in acquiring the player’s services. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
