Inter and Di Natale win Oscar Del Calcio awards

Diego Milito, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Di Natale won the most prestigious awards at last night’s Oscar Del Calcio awards in Milan, on a night where Inter’s Treble winning season was rewarded.
Milito’s success was seen as vilification for his bizarre overlooking at the FIFA Ballon D’Or awards last month. The Argentine striker picked up Serie A Player of the Year, Best Foreign Player and Best Bomber.
It was a night of triumph for Inter whose former manager Mourinho was named Best Coach, while the Nerazzurri scooped Team of the Year.
Inter’s Julio Cesar won his second Best Goalkeeper prize and Walter Samuel and Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini shared the Best Defender award. Douglas Maicon, again of Inter, won the Goal of the Year for his strike against Juve.
Di Natale of Udinese was the other big winner of the evening alongside Inter’s stars, as he won the Italian Player of the Year and Capocannoniere awards.
