Inter are down but not out after Bayern defeat

Julio Cesar gifted Mario Gomez with a goal to win the game for Bayern in the final minute last night. Despite this late twist, members of the Inter camp remain optimistic about the return leg.
Speaking in the post match press conference to a Sky Italia reporter, Inter President Massimo Moratti gave his opinion on the tie, he said: “We were very unlucky. It wasn’t easy playing with only one centre-forward and yet the team played some decent football and showed good movement. We don’t need to pull off a miracle; we only need to win 1-0. We can win 1-0 out there and have every chance of getting through.”
Esteban Cambiasso commented that he thought the game had been even saying that “Bayern Munich kept possession well and that was one of their strong points, but we were able to disrupt that for long periods of the game. It was played at a high level and both sides had their chances to make the breakthrough. Then the goal came and that changed the match, which had been very even up to then.”
Inter Coach Leonardo was also of the same opinion and thought that Inter had every chance of gong through in Munich: “We didn’t deserve to lose this one. We conceded a goal that came right out of the blue. A nil-all draw would have been a fairer result considering the chances they had and the chances we had,” he then added We’ll go to Munich to win and to go through. I’m not too concerned.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
