Inter close in on Cesena’s Nagatomo

Inter are being increasingly linked with a move for Cesena’s Japaense left-back Yuto Nagatomo with Italian youngster Davide Santon moving in the other direction on a six-month loan.
Reports emerged early this morning that Inter were on the hunt for a left sided defender and Genoa’s Domenico Criscito and Cesena’s Nagatomo were at the top of the Nerazzurri’s wish-list.
Both Gazzetta Dello Sport and Corriere Dello Sport report that Inter have now set their mind of the recently crowned Asian Cup winner Nagatomo who has been brilliant for Cesena this term.
Latest reports suggest that Nagatomo is already on his way to Milan, while the Nerazzurri seek to finalise a deal for Davide Santon and probably one of Joel Obi or McDonald Mariga to move to the Seahorses till the end of the season.
Gazzetta also claims that the deal is partly being stalled as Santon is not willing to move to the side which is currently sitting in the drop zone. However, Inter Technical Director Marco Branca seems desperate for the transfer to go through.
There are still roughly seven hours left before the transfer window closes in which both sides can aim to find a solution. Cesena meanwhile have reportedly secured Fiorentina’s Felipe as well as Finnish midfielder Jusu Karvonen. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
