Inter in shock move for Glen Johnson

The Daily Mail has surprisingly reported that Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson could be set for a shock move to Inter in January.
The transfer could hinge on Rafa Benitez, the Inter coach who is allegedly close to getting the sack. If he remains, Benitez plans to raid his former club Liverpool for Johnson, a player that the Spaniard previously signed for £17 million from Portsmouth.
Johnson could be keen on moving to Italy due to the reported breakdown in his relationship with new Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson. Inter plan to play on these frailties in order to sign the player.
If right-back Johnson arrives at the San Siro in January, question marks will arise about Maicon’s future. The Brazilian wanted a move to Real Madrid in the summer, and could be sold in January instead to raise funds for 26-year-old Johnson to replace him.
