Inter likely to buy before transfer window closes

Inter’s loss to Udinese last afternoon has once again opened up the possibility that the Nerazzurri might dip into the market before the window slams shut in a week’s time.
The club are still recovering Julio Cesar, Coutinho and Wesley Sneijder from injury and missed out on the services of Diego Milito for Sunday’s game leaving them short of options upfront against the Zebrette.
Despite previously stating that the Nerazzurri will not be active after having purchased Andrea Ranocchia earlier, club Techical Director Marco Branca admitted for the first time that the team could look to bring in a new face.
“Diego’s injury is not serious, but we must be able to stay competitive on all fronts. So if that means resting players, to get better results, then that is always good”, indicating that Inter could reinforce their attack.
Coach Leonardo also welcomed to the idea of bringing in an additional striker, especially as Goran Pandev has struggled for form this season netting only once in the league so far.
“Do we need to buy a striker? We’ll see. If the opportunity arises for us to bring in a player who can fit in well here, then maybe; otherwise no.”
There are numerous names being circulated around in the media but it seems that Inter may go for a tried and tested veteran who provides an immediate solution rather than someone who needs to be honed.
Thus, the names of Miroslav Klose, Luis Fabiano and David Trezeguet are the ones being linked to the Nerazzurri. However, Trezeguet’s agent has ruled out a return to Italy for the Frenchman in January. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
