Inter look at Dutch teenage ace

Inter are reportedly interested in Feyenoord youngster Luc Castaignos, according to the player’s agent. The 18-year-old striker has greatly impressed this season in Holland and has been tipped to move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
He has scored five goals this term for struggling Feyenoord, and has also greatly impressed for the Dutch under-19 team. It now seems that he could be moving to Inter in the January transfer window.
Castaignos’ agent Arie Treffers claimed: “The two technical directors of [Inter and Feyenoord] have met, Marco Branca and Leo Beenhakker. At this time there is only conversation between the two.”
“But for now the Inter manager Rafa Benitez is in Abu Dhabi, but he should return next week and make a proposal to the club. We’ve decided to wait on the evolving talks between Inter and Feyenoord.”

Castaignos shot to prominence after a serious of brilliant performances for the Netherlands U17 side at the 2009 UEFA Euopean Under-17 Championships. His displays attracted the interest of many top clubs from around the globe.
“As for us, Luc would not mind staying at Feyenoord to continue to grow, but if the two clubs reach an agreement, we would of course be ready to take the next step in his career.”
“Arsenal and Tottenham’s interest? Around him there are many clubs interested but Inter is the only one that has actually moved concretely.”

Should the Nerazzurri bring in the Dutch prodigy, it would bolster their attack which has been hit by injury this season. The club are also expected to move for Antonio Cassano, but the signing of Castaignos is seen as an investment for the future. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
