Inter needs to find identity, says Alvarez

It has been their worst start in decades, but Inter midfielder Ricky Alvarez believes his side are slowly on the right track but needs to find its identity
Gian Piero Gasperini was sacked early in his tenure after poor results and was replaced by Claudio Ranieri, who has added a semblance of stability to the club. However, Inter currently still languishes near the relegation zone.
“It is a period in which the results have not arrived,” Alvarez told ESPN Radio.
“The wins are not there. However, slowly slowly we are moving upwards. Our objective is to find our true identity to play football.”
Inter hosts Cagliari after the international break, looking to return to the winners list.
