Inter president agrees with CEO that Juventus owe them more Scudettos

Inter president Massimo Moratti is in agreement with the club’s CEO Ernesto Paolillo that Juventus owe the Nerazzurri more league titles.
Their public agreement is in retaliation towards Andrea Agnelli, the Juventus president, who is adamant that the Bianconeri have their 2006 Scudetto reinstated, which was stripped from their honours along with their 2005 success following Calciopoli.
His demand came after the news that the FIGC (Italian Football Association) are about to launch a new investigation into the case following fresh evidence that emerged in a tribunal in Naples. He also accused the Inter president of being “nervous” about the situation. Interestingly CEO Paolillo claims that if they were to hand back a league title, then Juve would owe them more. He told Gazzetta dello Sport. “If we have to restore the title, then Juventus would have to restore more titles.” Moratti is in agreement with his colleague but tried to defuse the public tension between both parties as they play each other on Sunday night.
It’s all true, what Paolillo said, but let’s not concentrate on these things right now, because on Sunday we face them and must concentrate on the football. Let’s not exaggerate the issue because it can be really disruptive. Above all, we have to concentrate on the field.”
