Inter stars Milito and Cambiasso out for a month

Sky Italia has revealed that Inter’s Argentine duo Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso are set for a spell on the sidelines for approximately a month.
They were both in action for their national team in the surprise 1-0 loss to Japan when they picked up hamstring injuries. Upon arrival back in Milan today, they were extensively tested for the severity of their problems. Cambiasso had suffered a first degree strain, while Milito’s is a second degree strain.
Inter have refused to put an official return date on either player, but Sky Italia believe it will be about three to four weeks.
Rafa Benitez’s squad depth will now be tested for the first time, with big boots to fill for whoever replaces the unavailable duo. Cambiasso’s holding role in midfield could be handed to Dejan Stankovic or McDonald Mariga, while Milito’s place in attack could be taken by Jonathan Biabiany. The Nerazzurri face Cagliari on Sunday.
