Inter still unable to finalise on their new Coach

The Inter coaching situation is yet to be resolved as President Massimo Moratti’s desperation became evident when he stated he could recall Leonardo to the post.
The Nerazzurri have so far been foiled in all their attempts to hire a new man they desire after Marcelo Biesla refused due to personal reasons, Fabio Capello was blocked by the English FA and Andre Villas-Boas’ buy-out clause was deemed too expensive.
Inter patron Moratti confirmed last night that there had been talks with former Genoa Coach Gianpiero Gasperini and that he respected the professionalism and the achievements of the veteran.
However, in the same interview he also displayed the confusion as he announced he could recall Leonardo as the Brazilian was still tied to the Nerazzurri because of his contract.
“I could also call Leonardo, who is still registered with Inter. It’s not that he’s gone away, he was given the freedom to see if there are other possibilities for him as being a Coach is not his main job. In any case, I might recall him.”
Today, newspapers are again filled with conflicting reports about the future of the Inter bench as Gazzetta claims Gasperini is a shoe-in for the job, while Corriere states Moratti still prefers Sinisa Mijhalovic.
The Roman-based paper claims that Inter Technical Director Marco Branca is opposed to a move for Mijhalovic who is at Fiorentina currently and issued a statement about his intent to continue with them last week.
Yesterday, spoke to Atletico Madrid manager Quique Sanchez Flores’ agent who claimed the Spaniard would be more than willing to accept the role should an offer arrive.
For the time being it would then seem that any announcement about the next Inter boss will only be made after the weekend as both Moratti and Branca have asked for time for contemplation. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
