Inter target Afellay transfer-listed

PSV Eindhoven’s want-away midfielder Ibrahim Afellay has been transfer-listed by his club, putting Juventus and particularly Inter on alert.
The 24-year-old Dutchman can leave PSV as a free agent at the end of the season, and he has made it clear that he won’t be signing a new contract. PSV, therefore, have decided to sell him in January so they can receive a fee, rather than lose him for nothing.
Corriere dello Sport showed a PSV club statement, reading: “PSV are ready to evaluate all possible options for the sale of the player, because we reached the conclusion that, for numerous different reasons, it is unrealistic to extend his contract.”
Afellay himself said: “I will do everything possible to avoid leaving PSV without a reasonable financial settlement.”
Due to his expiring contract, Afellay would probably cost just a few million Euros. Inter have been linked with him for a while, but his newfound availability could make several clubs interested. The player has been quoted in the past saying that he would prefer to move to Spain or England rather than Italy. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
