Isla only thinking of survival

Flying Chilean Mauricio Isla insists the main aim this season for Udinese is to avoid relegation.
The Zebrette have 18 points and are joint second in Serie A, just a point behind league leaders Juventus. They recovered from their midweek defeat in Naples to overcome Palermo 1-0 on Sunday, with the returning Antonio Di Natale scoring the only goal.
Isla told the club’s official website,, the squad is only thinking of obtaining the points necessary to attain the 40 point mark. “We still need 22 points to reach our goal. To get 40 points we have to be humble and keep playing like this. We kept the pace high and we gave Palermo a hard time. It was important to win today and great to have Di Natale back.”
The Friuli outfit are also in a strong position in the Europa League following their last-gasp victory over Atletico Madrid in their last match. They travel to Spain for the return with Isla eager to secure qualification with a victory. “We need to repeat the performance of the first match. We want to win in Spain to qualify. The squad is a bit tired but we have depth and this will be a good measure of our strengths.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
