Isla set for Udinese stay

The agent of Mauricio Isla has revealed that it is unlikely his client will be leaving Udinese during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Russian Premier League outfit Lokomotiv Moscow in recent weeks.
Agent Leonardo Rodriguez has also confirmed that there a number of clubs in England tracking the Chilean, although Rodriguez is refusing to confirm which clubs.
However, despite the reported interest from abroad, it seems that Isla will remain in Italy, with Udinese not looking to cash in on the midfielder.
“I can confirm that Lokomotiv are very interested in Mauricio Isla and that recently also some English clubs have asked about him,” explained Rodriguez to an assortment of gathered press.
“However, I doubt that Mauricio will be able to leave Udinese at the moment as the owners don’t want to sell anyone.
“The Pozzo family doesn’t want to let anyone go so personally I think it’s going to be difficult for Mauricio to leave.
“If depends on Udinese and whether they’d let him go now or in June.”

Isla made his international debut in 2007 and has gone on to make 18 appearances for Chile. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
