Italian sides learn their European fate

The Italian sides in European competitions learned their fate today as the draw was made for the knock out rounds of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
Two of the peninsulas sides will face a trip to London as Napoli face Chelsea and Milan take on Arsenal. Inter have what on paper appears to be the easier draw of the three with Marseille the opposition for the Nerazzurri. Inter will also be the only Italian side hosting the return fixture.
In the Europa League the draw was no kinder to Italian sides as Lazio were drawn against 2010 Europa League winners Atletico Madrid and Udinese were paired with PAOK. The Greek side secured a victory away at Tottingham in the group stage and offer one of the most hostile and partisan atmospheres on the continent at home.
Should the Serie A pair overcome their opening knock out phase encounters Lazio will face either Braga or Besiktas of Turkey and Udinese will have to travel north for either AZ Alkmaar or Anderlecht. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
