Italy awarded victory whilst Serbia set for docked points following Genova violence

According to the Belgrade sports daily Sportski Zurnal, the UEFA disciplinary commission has already passed the verdict on the incidents that happened before and during Italy vs Serbia on 12 October in Genova.
The decision is expected to consist of a walkover victory for Italy, 3-0 and in a resulting three matches played behind closed doors. Additionally, Serbia will also see three points detracted in Group C rank of the 2012 European qualification. The Serbian newspaper states that this punishment would mean the exclusion of Serbia from European qualification in Poland and Ukraine.
When questioned on the matter, UEFA president Michel Platini said: “I have too many bad memories connected to the violence among football supporters. I’d like to remind everyone that UEFA has a policy of zero tolerance toward violence in the stadia.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
