Italy monitoring Irish security situation

After Monday evening’s car bomb in Londonderry, Corriere Dello Sport understands that Italian national team executives have expressed their concern about the forthcoming match against Northern Ireland in Belfast on Friday evening.
Head coach Cesare Prandelli told the sports daily that at this moment the team were “serene and calm”. He continued by revealing that “our senior directors have been in touch with their Irish counterparts and at this moment we are monitoring the situation very closely”.
The team is due to fly out to Belfast on Thursday and Prandelli is still confident that this will go ahead. He stated that “the police in Northern Ireland are keeping us updated with any developments and we are hopeful that we will leave as scheduled on Thursday”. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
