Italy World Cup 28-man squad – Grosso and Candreva make Azzurri exit

At a press conference in Rome this afternoon, Marcello Lippi announced his 28 man squad to train in the mountains at Sestriere before the World Cup. The list excludes two players from the World Cup, in Juventus duo Fabio Grosso and Antonio Candreva. With Salvatore Sirigu set to drop out for the final 23 as 4th goalkeeper, it leaves four more names to be taken out to make the final 23.
