Juve target Dzeko doesn’t want to move

Wolfsburg’s highly-rated striker Edin Dzeko has ignored speculation linking him with a move to Juventus. The 24-year-old Bosnian was earmarked by Juventus as a big-money recruit, although it now seems he could be too expensive for the Bianconeri.
However, Dzeko isn’t thinking about leaving Germany and has refuted claims that his destination has already been decided. “There are so many rumours about my future,” Dzeko told Tuttosport.
“First it is Juventus, then there is talk about Manchester City and Bayern Munich. But at this moment it is too early to talk about what might happen in the summer, so I can’t say any more.”
However, Dzeko has claimed that his Wolfsburg team-mate Marcel Schafer would be an ideal signing for Juventus: “Marcel Schafer to Juve? Why not? He’s a great player who has done really well in recent seasons.”
“I’d be happy for him because he would be playing for a prestigious club that many other players would like to play for.”
Schafer, a 26-year-old German international, has reportedly been considered by Juve as the answer to their left-back worries.
