Juventus complete Matri, Quagliarella, Pepe and Motta signings

Juventus have officially completed the outright purchases of Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Simone Pepe and Marco Motta for a combined fee of €37.25 million.
All four players spent last season on loan at the Old Lady with Juventus retaining the option to buy which they have now availed. Notably, Alberto Aquilani is missing from that list.
Matri was Juve’s most expensive signing of the quartet as the Bianconeri parted with a further €15.5 million to Cagliari after having previously paid the Rossoblu €2.5 million for the duration of his loan.
Quagliarella cost Juventus another €10.5 million which will be paid to Napoli over a period of three years much like the price of Matri. This is in addition to the €4.5 million Juve paid for his loan.
Udinese will meanwhile receive €7.5 million for Pepe and €3.75 million for Marco Motta. All four players have signed a four-year agreement with the exception of Quagliarella who is contracted for a year less.
Alberto Aquilani is most notably absent from the list of loanees who have been acquired by the Bianconeri. The Italian will thus most likely return to Liverpool and have to contemplate his future.
Lastly, Catania are in talks with the Old Lady to negotiate the return of Jorge Martinez who left Gli Elefanti for Turin last year for a sum of €12.5 million.
