Juventus could go for Bonera

Corriere dello Sport has reported that Juventus’ hunt for a new defender could take them to Milan’s Daniele Bonera.
Juve have Nicola Legrottaglie, Zdenek Grygera and Armand Traore injured, while other options have failed to impress. As a result, sporting director Beppe Marotta is scouring Europe for defensive reinforcements – although his latest scouting report is from Juve’s Scudetto rivals.
Bonera has struggled to command a first-team place at Milan this season, giving Juve the belief that he could be signed. Transfers between Serie A’s biggest clubs are never simple, but they may try and find a solution in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old Bonera started his career with Brescia, before making his name at Parma. He joined Milan four years ago, and has won 16 international caps.
