Juventus failed in Benzema move

Juventus failed to secure a loan move for Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema earlier in the January transfer window, according to well-respected super agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
Juventus have been very busy throughout January and have been linked with countless strikers to solve their problems in that position. Injuries to Fabio Quagliarella, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Luca Toni have forced Juve to consider signing another striker.
It seems they tried to convince Real to let them have Benzema on loan until the end of the season. The Frenchman has never found his top form at Real and has received criticism from coach Jose Mourinho.
However, an injury to Gonzalo Higuain meant that Benzema was Real’s only fit striker, so it wasn’t an option to let him join Juventus, according to Bronzetti, who has strong ties with the Spanish giants.
Juve’s only attacking reinforcement in January has been Toni, who sustained an injury on just his second appearance. They now have just a matter of hours if they intend on trying to bring in another player to ease their injury crisis.
