Juventus give up on Dzeko deal

Corriere della Sera claim that Juventus have given up hope of signing Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko because he is too expensive.
For roughly a year, Juventus have been credited with an interest in the Bosnian striker, but Wolfsburg have never entertained the idea of selling their prized asset.
The German media have reported that the Bundesliga club have rejected an enormous €59 million bid from Manchester City, which is far more than Juve could offer.
It is thought that the Bianconeri could afford to offer a maximum of €40 million, but will now be forced to look for alternative signings in the January transfer window if they wish to bolster their strike-force.
