Juventus have made Tevez bid

Corinthians president Andres Sanchez has revealed that Juventus have made a massive £45 million bid for Manchester City’s wantaway captain Carlos Tevez.
The Brazilian side where Tevez plied his trade in 2004 and 2005 had their offer of £35 million turned down by City who are reportedly holding out for a figure closer to £50 million.
However, Corinthians president Sanchez has stated that he will be unable to increase the intial bid and also disclosed interest in Tevez from Juventus.
“Nothing has changed. They (Manchester City) have to decide whether to sell or not. They have a proposal for €52 million (£45 million) from Juventus, but Tevez does not want to stay in Europe.”
There has been no official confirmation of an interest in Tevez but the Old Lady has been desperately in search of a striker since the summer began.
The Bianconeri were linked with Sergio Aguero for a long time and recent reports have suggested that they have instead turned their attention towards Italian Giuseppe Rossi of Villarreal.
