Juventus injury problems begin to clear

Alessandro Del Piero has returned to work with the group along with other teammates, and despite training alone Giorgio Chiellini reassured the Juventini fans. “I have started to run, and the recovery seems to be on track. I hope to play as soon as possible.” He told Il Corriere dello Sport.
Injured during the game against Ukraine for the Azzurri at the end of March, the number three was diagnosed with a first grade muscle sprain in the right thigh, with a prognosis of thirty days out. At the moment the defender might be able to play against Catania on Saturday 23 April, and by Tuesday 2 May, when Juventus play Lazio, Chiellini should be able to back.
The match on Sunday against Fiorentina will see Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci together. Doubt however remains on the flanks: Marco Motta was in poor form against Genoa and could be dropped and replaced by Frederik Sorensen, while on the left Fabio Grosso has served his ban and could be preferred to Armand Traore.
In a friendly between the players in training Luigi Del Neri played Paolo De Ceglie who will finally be ready to play after five months out with a serious knee injury.
Marco Storari however had a colllision with Hasan Salihamidiz and had to leave the field. There is no doubt over Gigi Buffon’s fitness however, having worked alongside Storari and Alex Manninger: the number one will regain his place after a two week absence.
