Juventus make Danilo offer

Santos has received an offer from Juventus for midfielder Danilo. According to SportItalia, the Brazilian club appear to be interested in Juve’s €8 million offer for the 20-year old.
Danilo, naturally a central midfielder but also adept at right-back, was an integral part of Santos’ recent Copa Libertadores triumph.
The Old Lady is believed to have competition from Milan and Portuguese giants Benfica in securing his signature. One sticking point for Bianconeri and also Milan is that the player does not hold an EU passport.
Before wanting to get into serious negotiations, Juventus are waiting to find out if there will be any change to the Serie A non-EU player transfer regulations before signing any such player. Currently, only one non-EU signing is to be made per season, but it may revert back to two.
Meanwhile, Hasan Salihamidzic has left Juventus on a free transfer to join German club Wolfsburg. ‘Brazzo’ joined the Turin giants in 2007, making 73 appearances and scoring 8 goals in his time at the club.
