Juventus negotiations for Rossi moving along

Juventus General Manager Beppe Marotta has told journalists negotiations for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi are gathering pace paving the way for the Italian to join the Bianconeri quite soon.
With Atletico Madrid holding out for a club to match Sergio Aguero’s release clause of €45 million, Juve, who have failed to go higher than €35 million for the Argentine, has turned its attention to the Italian international.
Marotta held meetings with the Yellow Submarine last week while in Spain. And it is believed that signing Rossi has now been priortised over the earlier planned capture of Aguero.
“We are working without hurry, but also focusing on many objectives. Rossi? We are getting there, it is true, but we are also tracking other players,” Marotta told journalists at the Old Lady’s pre-season training camp at Bardonecchia.
Juventus may be able to sway the Spanish club with a bid of €25 million, plus a player. Felipe Melo is thought to be the player in question; however, after not being included in the pre-season camp, Momo Sissoko may play a part in the negotiations.
