Juventus put Liverpool man Glen Johnson on January shopping list

According to reports in the Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are lining up a surprise January move for Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson.
Coach Luigi Del Neri is thought to be a great admirer of the 26-year-old England international and a swoop in the New Year looks likely. La Vecchia Signora have been dealt a problem on the right hand side of their defence with new summer signing Leandro Rinaudo injured for the foreseeable future, and it seems as though they will now try to tempt the Red’s to part with their man.
The Turin giants see Liverpool’s current financial crisis as their trump card and with the future of the English side still in considerable doubt, sporting director Giuseppe Marotta looks set to try to use this to his club’s advantage. Johnson signed for the Anfield giants in 2009 in a 17 million pound deal from Portsmouth.
