Juventus’ Sissoko set for Premier League return

Aston Villa are weighing up a move for Juventus’ out-of-favour midfielder Mohamed Sissoko, according to The Sun.
Juventus want to reinforce their squad in January but can only do so by selling players first, and Sissoko is surplus to requirements in Turin.
Villa could bring the 25-year-old back for his second stint in the Premier League if the Bianconeri are ready for a deal under £7 million – the amount they paid for him three years ago.
The Mali international previously played for Liverpool and his tough-tackling attributes are suited to England and Villa want him to add some strength and experience to their youthful midfield.
But the price that Juventus set for him could be the only problem. The Bianconeri have only started Sissoko twice in the league this season and are keen to sell him to raise funds for new players.
