Juventus target Liverpool defenders

Juventus Sporting Director Beppe Marotta is heading back to England to inquire on the availability of two Liverpool defenders the Corriere Dello Sport understands.
Marotta is set to meet with Liverpool’s new Director of Strategy, Damien Comolli to finalise the deal that will see Alberto Aquilani’s loan deal to the Bianconeri become permanent.
It is reported that the Turin giants are also interested in taking centre-half Daniel Agger and England full-back Glen Johnson to Italy and it is believed that during the meeting, Marotta will enquire as to their availability. Agger is believed to be heading to German club Wolfsburg, but nothing has been signed yet, whereas Johnson is rumoured to be available for around 10 million pounds – a figure which may deter La Vecchia Signora from pursuing his signature.
