Kjaer’s Roma battle cry

Roma defender Simon Kjaer has apologised for the Giallorossi’s exit from the Coppa Italia but is now focused on the weekend clash with Bologna.
Juventus knocked Roma out of the Cup after a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Bianconeri were in control from the start, scoring an early goal. The match ended with the Dane putting the ball into his own net.
“I’m sorry for all the Romanisti,” Kjaer told Il Messaggero.
“We wanted to do well against Juventus but we were unlucky to concede a goal quickly, even if Juventus certainly played a great match. There was nothing else I could do for the own goal.”
Roma have won four straight in Serie A, including the rescheduled round one match against Bologna in December, triumphing 2-1. Kjaer offered a simple message: “Now for revenge – we want to beat Bologna this Sunday.”
