Klose – The new ‘King of Rome’ looks to stay until 2014

Miroslav Klose was crowned the ‘King of Rome’ last night as he scored the winning goal in the Eternal City derby and told the Lazio fans that he would be staying for three more years. Klose told the German magazine Kicker: “If everything goes well, I’ll play with Lazio until 2014. I’ll stop after the World Cup.”
Klose scored the goal to end Roma’s 918 day domination of the Rome derby – i Lupi had won the previous five meetings. However a few days before the game, Klose was still feeling the pain in his knee that he suffered in the game against Fiorentina, leading to doubts that he would be included in the team.
The German forward has already attracted the nickname “Legend” from the Biancocelesti supporters due to his humble nature and explosive start in front of goal so far this campaign.
