Klose would like Lazio move

Bayern Munich and Germany striker Miroslav Klose has admitted that he is aware of interest from Lazio and would like to move to the club.
Despite being one of the stars of last summer’s World Cup, Klose has found playing time difficult to come by this season at Bayern.
His contract expires next June, and at the age of 32 the Bavarian giants are willing to let him move on. Lazio have been credited with an interest and Klose seems keen on a transfer to Italy.
The striker said: “I know that I will almost certainly leave Bayern at the end of the season. I have been following Lazio’s progress and they are doing very well. Rome is also a wonderful city and I cannot deny I’d love to play there.”
Lazio director Igli Tare has been in Munich recently, but has been reportedly negotiating with Bayern to sign Klose’s team-mate Diego Contento.
The 20-year-old full-back was born in Italy but raised in Germany and has come up through Bayern’s youth-ranks. But Lazio now seemingly want to bring him back to the country of his birth, before signing Klose in the summer when he becomes a free agent.
