Kranjcar wants Serie A move

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar has revealed that he wants a move to Serie A after failing to hold down a regular place at White Hart Lane.
The unsettled 26-year-old Croatian international, who joined Spurs from Portsmouth in 2009, has started just two league matches this campaign.
German club Werder Bremen reportedly had an offer turned down for the left footer during the January transfer window and Kranjcar is hoping to have meeting with manager Harry Redknapp soon.
“Is there a point of beginning next season as a bit-part player? None whatsoever,” Kranjcar said in The Sun newspaper.
“I have an agreed meeting with the chairman Daniel Levy and the manager (Redknapp), it should happen within a week.
“After the meeting I want to have a clear picture about my status. I would definitely be interested in moving to Italy. I think I would adapt quickly to Italian football.”

Kranjcar began his career with Dinamo Zagreb in 2001, before moving on to Hajduk Split three years later.
