Krasic apologises for “instinctive” dive

Juventus winger Milos Krasic has defended his dive against Bologna at the weekend.
Krasic won a penalty for his side after going down with seemingly nobody touching him, only for Vincenzo Iaquinta to miss the spot-kick, ensuring a 0-0 draw. Krasic, however, has been handed a two-match ban and has attracted widespread criticism.
“I am very sorry for all this, as I didn’t mean to do it and it was an instinctive gesture,” said Krasic on an Italian television programme. “There has been so much noise about what happened and it was not necessary. I am not someone who does this sort of thing.”
Juventus have appealed Krasic’s suspension, and a hearing will take place tomorrow (Friday), but if it is upheld, he will miss matches against Milan and Cesena.
