Krasic: “I always wanted Juventus”

Juventus’ Serbian playmaker Milos Krasic has said that he always desired to sport the black and white of the Old Lady. Krasic who moved to Turin in the summer, stated that he would like to end his career with the Bianconeri.
The Serb has become an instant hit with the Juve fans and he told Torino Magazine that despite interest from many clubs to sign him from CSKA Moscow last year, he was only keen on Juventus.
“It’s the dream of any player to come to Juventus. I put it above all else, I was not interested in the money, I did not care what the other clubs were offering me, I only wanted Juve.”
“When I first pulled on the Bianconeri jersey, I was very, very excited. It was also quite emotional. I told myself – Milos, you are the happiest man in the world at this moment.”

The 26-year old has become one of the mainstays of the Juve side this term, yet he admits that meeting his idols like Alessandro Del Piero was quite a memorable occasion.
“When I shook hands with Del Piero, I smiled to myself. Alex is truly a beautiful person. I know that the great advice that I get from him on football, is actually very good advice for my life.”
The Nedved lookalike who has shown his talents match those of the Czech club legend also had kind words for Coach Gigi Del Neri who he credits with helping him settle into the team and also being an excellent motivator.
“He is a true professional, a man of authority. There is an enormous amount of expectations from us, and we try to live up to it and he helps translate this onto the football pitch.
“I am fortunate enough to know exactly what my role is. And the Coach conveys it if he wants me to do things differently. As for the President Agnelli, I haven’t had the opportunity to speak with him openly, but he gave me great determination.”

Krasic was finally asked how he envisaged his future with the Bianconeri and the Serb was quick to state his desire to win major trophies and also suggested he was open to staying with the Old Lady for the long haul.
“I have 4-year contract with Juve, I want to win everything possible. Becoming a great professional and above all a man of value. If you are not man inside you’re nothing. If everything goes the right way, I’d like to close my career with Juve. But no one can know tomorrow .”
Juventus recovered from their losses to Parma and Napoli, with a slim victory against Bari on Sunday and currently sit in fifth place with 34 points, seven behind leaders Milan.
