Lassana Diarra on Milan’s radar

Corriere dello Sport claim that Milan could be set to turn their attention to signing Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra.
Milan are in the market for reinforcements, and Diarra has emerged as a target due to his limited opportunities at Real. He is naturally a holding midfielder but can also play right-back, which Milan see as a precious commodity due to their wish to strengthen both areas.
It is unknown how much Real will demand for the out-of-favour player. The 25-year-old Frenchman missed out on the World Cup due to injury, but already has 28 caps. After starting at Le Havre in France, Diarra has gone on to play for Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth in the Premier League before Real bought him in January 2008 for approximately £20 million.
