Lavezzi to consider Napoli future after Copa America

Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi will assess his transfer options after the Copa America, his agent has confirmed.
The 26-year-old is currently with the Argentina squad bidding to claim Copa America glory on home soil, yet question marks remain over the players’ long-term future, with clubs across Europe monitoring the situation.
Speaking on Radio Marte, Alejandro Mazzoni said: “The president said no one is not for sale and if an important offer comes, it is estimated. That’s it. It seems like a normal situation.
“I have yet to speak with the company. We will have to make the holidays and then re-enter negotiations.”

De Laurentiis’ stance appears to have softened, with talk of possible transfers of star names such as Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik given short thrift in recent weeks.
Manchester City have made tentative enquiries about Lavezzi in the past, though Napoli have stood firm, insisting they would not welcome any bid given their own strong financial position.
Argentina opened their Copa America campaign with a disappointing 0-0 draw against a limited, yet dogged Bolivia side, who frustrated the hosts to claim a valuable point.
Lavezzi missed two good chances for Sergio Batista’s men and will now wait to see if he keeps his place ahead of Juventus target Sergio Aguero. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
