Lazio and Napoli ponder a swap deal

As the January transfer window draws to a close, La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting Lazio and Napoli are seeking a deal which would see Manuel Blasi move to Rome and Pasquale Foggia join the Partenopei.
Lazio President Claudio Lotito is hoping to receive a concrete offer in order to see the deal occur. He stated that the teams are looking for a solution to the benefit of all parties: “We are ready to make the players happy.”
Both sides are eyeing a spot in the Champions League for season 2011/12 and are looking to strengthen in required areas. Both teams are currently tied in second spot, seven points behind leaders Milan though Napoli do have a game in hand.
The side from the capital will look to add steel to a midfield brimming with creative talent such as Hernanes and Cristian Ledesma. Meanwhile, gli Azzurri are fighting on two fronts and want to ensure Coach Walter Mazzarri has adequate depth should Marek Hamsik be unavailable.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport is reporting Napoli are close to signing Catania’s talismanic striker Giuseppe Mascara. The difference between the offer and the desired amount is believed to be around £430,000. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
