Lazio chasing Celtic outcast Samaras

Lazio want to boost their Scudetto hopes by bringing in Georgios Samaras, who is out of contract with Celtic in the summer. The Greek striker seemingly has no intention of renewing his deal with the Scottish club, so he could sign a pre-contract deal as early as the end of the year.
The capital club’s surprising challenge for the title this season could attract Samaras, 25, who also has offers from Spanish clubs Hercules and Deportivo la Coruna. However, Lazio would have to decide whether to wrap up a pre-contract deal with the striker so he joins at the end of the season.
The Aquile could also try to buy him in January for what would surely be a small fee. Such is the competition for his signature that Lazio are expected to bid in the next couple of weeks so he can bolster their squad immediately.
Samaras has struggled for a first-team spot at Celtic and hasn’t yet scored a goal yet this season. However, Lazio coach Edy Reja has identified him as a good addition to compliment his current strike-force of Mauro Zarate and Tommaso Rocchi. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
