Lazio not looking towards the title yet

Lazio President Claudio Lotito is trying hard to play down any talk of his team winning the title this season. The Roman club have surprised many by performing above expectations and sit fourth in the league table only seven points behind Milan.
Speaking on the clubs official radio station Lotito said: “We will be playing in 12 ‘finals’ between now and the end of the season. I implore our fans to help us reach our objectives.”
To Lazio’s credit, their success this year has been achieved on a relatively low budget in comparison to their rivals, however, the President was quick to point out that he is looking forward to the new UEFA transfer rules being imposed, he said “There are opposition teams that spend more than eight times as us, but things will be different in 18 months when financial fair play comes into play. The system will change and teams will be forced to build long-term projects.”
Finally he was asked about what he thought about Coach, Edoardo Reja who has been responsible for much of Lazio’s progress, he enthused that “He will absolutely be our coach next season. I chose him last season because I believed he had the potential to help our team improve, and he has done that. He has a strong character and qualities which are able to lift the playing group, turning it into a winning one.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
