Legrottaglie heading for Milan

Juventus veteran Nicola Legrottaglie has claimed that he will make a deadline day transfer to Serie A rivals Milan in what would be the Rossoneri’s fifth acquisition of the January transfer window.
The 34-year-old has struggled for first-team action this season and the arrival of Andrea Barzagli at Juve has signalled the end of Legrottaglie’s time in Turin. He was thought to be joining hometown club Bari, but it seems he has a better offer.
“Tomorrow I will be joining Milan,” Legrottaglie confirmed on Sunday night. “Am I upset at how it ended with Juve? We’ll see. When I say goodbye to everyone at Juventus, I will say what I think.”
The Rossoneri are concerned that Alessandro Nesta has a serious shoulder injury and need to sign a last-minute centre-back with the required experience, and Legrottaglie fits the bill.
