Leonardo is only concerned with the present

Inter coach Leonardo has been quick to brush aside rumours that he may out of a job at the end of the season. The Brazilian commented that he is only focusing on what is in front of him.
Leonardo was calm as he talked about speculation that suggested he may have to leave Inter in the summer, ESPN reported that he said: “I am not worried about these rumours. I’m not thinking about the future. I live in the present. I don’t even think about these things. I have an open rapport with the club president. He knows me, knows what I think and the only thing that interests me is to find a solution so that the team wins.”
Inter have had a bad run of results in the past month and elimination from the Champions League 7-2 on aggregate to Schalke did nothing to stop the rumours. The Nerazzurri have also let the Scudetto slip away allowing arch rivals Milan to gain a significant lead in the title race. Leonardo looked to the positives: “It was important to halt the negative run of results. It wasn’t easy, especially after our Champions League elimination. But against Roma we showed maturity and we took an important result – something that is not easy to do in Rome.”
