Lippi dismisses Inter relegation talk

World Cup winning former Italy Coach Marcello Lippi has spoken to RAI Due this week and expressed his views on Inter’s relegation prospects and who he feels will fight for the Scudetto.
As one of the world’s most decorated managers when he expresses his views on football there is always a keen interest in Italy. The former Nerazzurri coach has dismissed their chances for relegation declaring: “It is easier for Berlusconi to become President of the Republic than it would be for Inter to be relegated to Serie B.”
The five time Scudetto winning coach also backed two of his former clubs to battle for the trophy this campaign. Lippi suggested “Juventus and Napoli” to be the leading contenders for the championship behind favourites Milan.
Speaking candidly to the Italian broadcaster his barb at Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian premier, was also followed by a confirmation of his political views. “Am I communist? No. I was always on the left, but never a communist.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
