Luc Castaignos set to sign a contract with Inter

Voetbal International has reported that Feyenoord star Luc Castaignos will sign a contract with Inter today. The 18 year old has been on the Nerazzurri radar for some time and now they finally have their man.
Talks that have been going on for weeks are now concluding with Castaignos, who has now travelled to Milan, preparing to undergo a medical. The fee of 4m Euros was already agreed in the January transfer window and now that personal terms have also been sorted out all that it is left are the formalities. It was originally thought that the young Dutchman would be loaned back to Feyenoord for the 2011/12 season but it is now believed that he will instead stay in Milan to be part of Inter’s plans next season.
Castaignos spoke to the Gazzetta dello Sport upon his arrival at a Milan airport and said: “I’m fast and I can score… I’m happy to be here and honoured that Inter has given me this chance.”
He had previously spoken to AD/Sportwereld saying that “I always knew that the clubs would manage to agree terms. I have yet to agree personal terms, but that won’t be too much of a problem. They are ready to offer me a four-year deal and they’ve told me that I won’t be shipped out on loan. That shows that they have a lot of faith in me. They want me to join up with the team right away this summer.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
