Brazilian international Lucio believes Inter are still a force to be reckoned with and can continue to win trophies.
Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, the central defender says he feel good at Appiano Gentile despite rumours surrounding his future and that the Nerazzurri still retain a strong squad.
“I am very happy. Inter is a great club and I find myself really well here. I can still win a lot with this shirt.”
After joining Inter from Bayern Munich two seasons ago, Lucio has won the Scudetto, two Italian Cups, the Champions League and Club World Cup.
He also has one final desire which he says will keep him going: “I want to do well and find myself ready for the World Cup in 2014.”
Lucio’s current contract expires at the end of the season but this has hinted he would like to renew for another two years.
