Macheda to join Sampdoria on loan

Manchester United’s Federico Macheda is on the verge of completing a loan move to Sampdoria according to his agent. Giovanni Bia, the player’s agent told Sky Sports that only formalities separate the two parties.
Macheda had been allowed to move on loan last week by United Coach Sir Alex Ferguson and now he seems set to be be heading back to his homeland in search of more first-team action.
“Macheda at Sampdoria? Let’s say that this only lacks the formality. We are missing the traditional exchange of fax, but everything is in the pipeline”, said Bia.
“We hope to close everything as soon as possible, so that Federico is available for Samp as soon as possible. The idea is to have him on loan till June.”
The young Italian burst on to the scene at the Red Devils two seasons ago as a 17-year old netting decisive goals that helped United to the title but in recent months his attitude has also been criticised by the Coach.
“After June, the United Coach Sir Alex Ferguson will decide to keep him here (at Sampdoria) for another year or return to Manchester. But 99% he should go back as Ferguson considers him one of the best talents in Europe.”
Macheda’s arrival at the Blucerchiati will most likely conclude their search for a replacement for Antonio Cassano who left for Milan following his bust-up with President Riccardo Garrone. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
