Man City could hijack Juventus Dzeko move

Corriere dello Sport has revealed that Juventus’ wish to sign Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko could be scuppered by Manchester City.
The big-spending Premier League side have identified Dzeko as an attacking reinforcement in the January transfer window, and have the financial muscle to dominate Juventus in a bidding-war.
Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta has publicly announced his ambition to sign the Bosnian striker, who would cost in the region of 30 million Euros from the Bundesliga outfit. Dzeko, for his part, has allegedly been keen on moving to Turin, but interest from Man City could change everything.
Dzeko, 24, started his career in Bosnia with Zeljeznicar and Teplice before bursting onto the European scene with Wolsburg in 2007, where his reputation and price-tag soared.
