Man City look to Udinese’s Zapata

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will turn his attention back to Serie A to sign Udinese’s Cristian Zapata, according to The Sun.
City may have spent approximately £300 million in the summer, but are now allegedly looking to reinforce again with the acquisition of the highly-rated defender Zapata in the January transfer window.
Udinese would be reluctant to let the 24-year-old leave for the Premier League, but would sell for a fee in the region of €20 million. Udinese snapped Zapata up in 2005 from his hometown club Deportivo Cali in his native Colombia. He has since gone on to become one of the most coveted defenders in Italy.
